How EventVow works
EventVow turns a Pakistani wedding into one shared plan. You create a project, add each function (Dholki, Mehndi, Barat, Walima, or any other event), invite family with roles, publish a wedding website with RSVP, and book vendors who reply with itemised quotes. Everyone involved sees the same guest list, budget, and timeline.
1. Create your project and events
Choose the event type (wedding, engagement, birthday, aqeeqa, corporate, conference). Add each function with its own date, venue, timings, dress code, parking notes, and contact person. Guests see these details on the website and in their invitation.
2. Invite the family with roles
Organizer, co-organizer, budget approver, viewer, or planner. Couples can link their accounts so both sides work on one project. Each person sees exactly what their role allows.
3. Publish your wedding website
Pick a template or use the Pro Code Editor for a fully custom design. Pages include Welcome, Our Story, Schedule (with maps, QR codes, and live host location on the day), RSVP, Where to Stay, Getting There, Bridal Party, Q&A, Registry, and Moments. Each guest gets a personal link that greets them by name and knows which events they are invited to and how many people their invitation covers.
4. Find and book vendors
Browse by category and city, check each vendor's calendar for your date, and send a booking request with your guest count. Vendors reply with an itemised quote: menu lines per person, flat items, add-ons, service charge, and tax. Accept, or counter with a different guest count or without add-ons, up to three rounds.
5. Pay and run the day
Agree a payment schedule (advance, before the event, after) and pay the vendor directly; EventVow tracks every milestone. Use the checklist, seating planner, approvals, and Salami ledger on the day. Vendors run their side from their own portal: calendar, outside jobs, quotes, payouts, and reviews.
Questions
Do I need the app on my phone?
No. EventVow works in any browser on phone, tablet, or desktop. The wedding website looks identical on every device.
Can vendors see my budget?
No. Vendors only see the booking requests you send them and the messages in that negotiation.
What happens if a vendor is already booked on my date?
Their calendar shows it before you request, so you can pick another vendor. If a confirmed vendor cancels, you are notified immediately.
